Ken Hoehn

Raised on a mixed farm near Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Ken spent his summers roaming the pastureland and sneaking up on Sandhill Cranes or seeing how close he could get to a Great Blue Heron. A naturalist and adventurer at heart, he has enjoyed the spirituality of nature by finding ways to get close to the creatures of the wild ever since.

For the past decade, the camera has accompanied him into the wilderness to capture the spectacular beauty of the moment for humanity. Each image in his collection represents a priceless memory, each unique with a story of its own. The key to his photographic success has been the infusion of art into the process.

Now a resident of Alberta, Ken has found a niche teaching photography to students, continuing to improve his own techniques and looking for his next adventure in the outdoors.
