The Creative Arts and Crafts Committee is dedicated to preserving and encouraging creativity through competition, exhibition, and interactive demonstrations of arts and crafts. We forge this link by showcasing the many different crafts created by amateur artists and crafters. We feature traditional and modern crafting techniques including weaving, rug hooking, needlework, knitting, eco-friendly crafts, paper crafts, quilting, ceramics, painting and drawing, cake decorating and sugar art.
The Junior section showcases the work of aspiring artists aged 12 to 17 years. We welcome submissions in all areas of arts and crafts in this section.
Annually the Creative Arts and Crafts committee welcomes over 500 entrants, competing for ribbons, cash prizes, and bragging rights.
