Corrie Buwalda

Corrie Buwalda developed an appreciation for drawing and painting at an early age and acquired a serious interest in art while in high school.  In 1968 she enrolled in commercial art at the “Art Instruction School” in Minneapolis, Minnesota, graduating in 1970.  Being raised in the Calgary area, Corrie developed a fond interest in horses, dogs and wildlife, as well as being inspired by the detail in nature, which is reflected in her paintings and drawing.
