Neil K. Swanson

Neil began his painting career early; his father was an amateur painter so the creative process was something that came naturally.  His work typically begins on a black background, his reasoning being that his subjects are partially reborn from the memories of growing up near the forest.  Symbolism is another factor in his work, the elements of which are the past, present and future.  Neil's work has been showcased in  International Artist Magazine and Master Painters of the World Canada Showcase.
