Wendy Scalf

Wendy Scalf is an emerging artist from Calgary, Alberta who has been painting seriously for four years. She primarily paints impressionistic oils of prairie and mountain landscapes.  Wendy loves to drive the rural roads of Western Canada taking photographs of old farm buildings, animals and other interesting features.  She utilizes her photographs as a reference for her paintings.  Wendy’s style is somewhat unique and her paintings are known for their dark backgrounds and bold focal points.
