Betty Boyce Johnson  

Betty was born in Grande Prairie and raised in Calgary. While growing up in the city, she was strongly influenced by frequent visits to the family farms in northern Alberta.  Childhood trips to the foothills, mountains and ocean, and world travel have broadened her outlook. Betty works with a diversity of media, including numerous fibre arts and woodworking. She now concentrates on water colour painting. Recently one of Betty’s paintings was accepted by the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour.
