"She is a prolific artist and enjoys a variety of diverse tools and subjects, but always comes back to her Alberta roots. Her education consists of formal art training at Red Deer College and U of C, as well as numerous workshops with acclaimed artists. She was awarded ‘best new artist’ at the 2009 Calgary Stampede art Auction and ‘best of show’ in the 2009 Calgary Stampede art gallery. She is an active participant in the art community and has shown in various galleries and juried shows. Linda’s paintings are enjoyed in both corporate and private collections across Canada and abroad."
