Maxine Wolodko

Maxine was born in Edmonton, raised in rural Alberta and now lives in Vancouver. She has been drawing and painting since childhood. With her paintings, she seeks to capture the simple moments witnessed in everyday life. A walk through her neighbourhood, a drive in the country or more distant travel provides her with ample inspiration. “Painting is my way of fully appreciating these ordinary moments before they can slip away and be forgotten.”
