TIM BUCKLEY

Tim Buckley is a singer song writer born and raised in Calgary Alberta. He's been gigging around the city for the last four years and has been hammering out quality original tunes over that time period. His first C.D was recorded at SymPul studios and released in 2008. Tim's first recording features an ecclectic mix of songs rooted in blues, country and folk music and he derives his inspiration from a diverse set of singer songwriters such as, Corb Lund, Neil Young, Lyle Lovett, Hank Williams, Gram Parsons, John Prine and Old Crow Medicine show. Over the last few years Tim has matured into a solid performer exemplified by his powerful voice, solid guitar playing and gut wrenching harmonica solos.

THE TIM BUCK TWO

The Tim-Buck-Two features the powerful writing and singing of Tim Buckley and the solid double bass playing and killer harmony vocals of Derek Pulliam. Tim and Derek met about 3 years ago at the infamous Bar Named Sue in Calgary at a live jam. From the first time that they share the stage together there was obvious chemistry. The Tim-Buck-Two came to fruition in the fall of 2008 and Tim and Derek have been working hard at solidifying and crafting their sound which is rooted in traditional country and folk, but pushes the boundaries to give their sound a more contemporary feel. Tim's music is very diverse and touches on the genre's of blues, country and folk. Derek's playing and singing are an excellent addition to Buckley's music filling out the sound and bringing Tim's songs to life. These two put on a great live show that focuses on the music as the number one priority.
