Window On The West Performers
LARRY KRAUSE
Over the past several years, performances and concerts have had Paddockwood, Sask. based Singer/Songwriter Larry Krause being found from Manitoba to B.C, both individually and with his backup band, Timberline, playing the traditional, roots style of Western music that keeps folks coming back for more. Venues he has entertained at have included big city stages, small town halls, campfires and pretty near everything in between. He has been a headliner for grandstand shows, and has been featured on several television specials. These performances played no small part in his nomination in 2004 as Saskatchewan Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year, with his songwriting style recognized in his debut CD, “True Blue’s“, nomination as Album of the Year. Three singles off of the CD have been released to radio, getting airplay across Western Canada, and the Western United States. “The Gate is Open” a Gospel album that he released June, 2006, has proven to be in great demand, with many songs off of the Album being played on Inspirational radio programs across Canada, the U.S and Europe. His long awaited third CD, ‘Northern Range”, was released this spring, getting rave reviews. His down to earth, standup performance style and solid vocal delivery combined with his ability to bring the story in the music to life in his songs, make for a memorable and enjoyable listening experience.
